• IP address: Used for security, fraud prevention, and approximate location.

4. What Others Can See

Soche India is a public platform. By default:

• Your posts, comments, and reactions are visible to all users of the platform.
• Your profile name and photo (if set) are visible to other users.
• If you post anonymously, your identity is hidden from other users — but not from our moderation team for safety purposes.

You can delete your own posts at any time from your profile.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted third-party services to operate our platform:

• Google Sign-In: If you choose to log in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google as permitted by their terms.
• Google Analytics: To understand how users use our platform. This data is anonymised and aggregated.
• Amazon CloudFront (AWS): To deliver images and media files quickly across India.
• Firebase: For push notifications.

Each of these services has their own privacy policy which governs how they handle data.

6. Cookies

We use cookies to:

• Keep you logged into your account (session token).
• Remember your preferences such as category filters.
• Collect anonymous analytics on platform usage.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Note that disabling session cookies will log you out of the platform.

Soche India is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has registered on our platform, please contact us so we can remove their account.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you via a notice on the platform or by email. Continued use of Soche India after changes means you accept the updated policy.
